Terms and Condition

Students are invited to read carefully the following terms and conditions before starting the procedure of enrollment.

All participants are considered without regard to race, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, preference and study.As far as for the age our students can be kids (6+), teen agers, young adults, adults and seniors (60+).

Lessons are held from Monday to Friday.
Lessons are provided from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm.
Group courses require a minimum of 4 students.
Groups have an average of 4-6 students with a maximum of 12 students in high season.

We reserve the right to cancel a group course if less than four students have enrolled or commuting , in accordance with the students, the group lessons in individual hrs.

Each group lesson consists of 55 minutes tuition.
Each individual lesson consists of 60 minutes tuition.
Each individual package must be used within 3 months.

Lessons not held during the  Italian Religious or National Holidays are not reimbursed.

Lessons are not held during the time of closure of the school.

Italian lessons and other activities are not provided  in August.

In case of force majeure  unforeseeable event  such as Covid 19 pandemia,  or any other events that can menace  public ’s  health and safety,  courses will be delayed , rescheduled or converted into online lessons.In case students prefer to cancel the course a 20% of the price of the course plus the enrollment fee is retained.

The price of the language courses includes the tuition hours.
Text-books are not included.
The enrollment fee (€40,00) is valid for a year.
It includes

• The bank charges in case of payment by credit card on our premises.
• The school’s insurance policy
• Testing

Students attending short term courses need to pay half enrollment fee (€20,00).

In order to register is necessary to pay a deposit consisting of the 20% of the total cost of the course plus the enrollment fee (€40,00).
The deposit has to be paid four weeks before the starting date of the course.

Payments must be made in full 2 weeks before the commencement of the course.
A place cannot be reserved until payment is made.
Students who have paid the registration fee have to settle the payment two week before the starting date of the course.
One time payment in advance is requested for online courses.

Please, arrange your bank transfer and send a copy of the transfer documents ( by  mail or whatsapp) at least 2 weeks before the commencement of your course.

FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT YET ARRIVED

If more than four weeks’ notice is given: all tuition will be re-funded. A €25,00 charge will be made to cover bank expenses.
If less than a month notice is given: a 20% plus the enrollment fee will be retained

FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE STARTED THEIR COURSE

No refund will be made on tuition fees.  Students who wish to defer their program may do so at no extra cost, within that academic year.

FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE ATTENDING COURSES

No refund will be given to students who begin group courses later than the official starting dates.
No refund will be given to students who leave group courses before the official ending dates.
No refund will be given to students who miss group classes.
No refund will be given to students who do not cancel the one to one tuition 24 hrs in advance.
Lessons not held during the Italian National and Religious Holidays are not reimbursed. (Please see the holidays’ details in dates)

IN ALL CASES REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE MADE TO THE INDIVIDUAL WHO PAID FOR THE COURSE. A 5% CHARGE WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM ALL CREDIT CARD REFUNDS.

The accommodation service is provided by our partner company “Domus Romanae” run by Isabella Finestauri (www.domusromanae.it e www.my-rome.net).
Students are invited to contact the accommodation officer in order to be informed about the policy of payment and refunds.

The accommodation fee is  NOT to be payed to Sabina Fusaro.

The accommodation fee is to be payed to Isabella Finestauri.

Please note:

The accommodation will be normally available from the Sunday before the course starts until the Saturday morning after it ends. Students wishing to extend their accommodation after arrival at the school may do so by speaking to the accommodation officer. Twin rooms are strictly for two people booking together for the same dates Prices include linen service, gas, light, heating and water expenses, plus the use of kitchen facilities. Prices can vary according to the area where the flats are located.

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation service is provided  by our partner  Isabella Finestauri.
She arranges the most appropriate accommodation for students in accordance with their particular needs.
Every accommodation is carefully selected in order to ensure students clean and dignified housing in safe neighborhoods.
Students have the option to share a flat with selected Italian host families, with young Italian professionals or University students.
Studio flats are available too.
You can contact Isabella and she will be glad to indicate you all the options she can offer to meet your needs.
The accommodation service fee and the cost for the accommodation must be addressed  entirely to Isabella Finestauri. She will give you  details  and rules of payments.

VISA

We can assist  – writing a letter of enrollment  to a language  course- only students applying for a 3 months  Visa .
In this respect, it should be noted that  non EU  students , applying  for a tourist Visa  (valid for 3 months) , do not need to proof they are going to attend any course.
Our assistance is not requested by the law but , upon request,  it’s  an act of courtesy to our students.

INSURANCE

Students are covered by an Insurance  plan in case of injury due to our professional studio or due to negligence while students are present in our premises.
The insurance plan does not cover injuries occurred  to students outside our premises.
